MEDICA is one of the world's leading health sector fairs since 1970. The annual MEDICA 2017 Fair was held on 13 November 2017 at the Messe Fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. The exhibition area was about 75,000 square meters of indoor space. Medical devices, medical instruments, consumables, surgical equipment, hospital furniture, orthopedic products, pharmaceutical products and software products were exhibited. Around 5,000 companies participated in the fair. The number of visitors was 135,000 from 130 countries. Within the fair, not only the exhibitions, but also there were forums and congresses related to the sector. The fair, which was attended by leading representatives of the sector, ended on 16 November 2017.
