SOCIAL COMPLIANCE POLICY

As Plasti-med Plastik Medikal Ürünler San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., we are committed to protecting the rights of all our employees, ensuring fair working conditions, and fully complying with occupational health and safety principles.

There is no room for discrimination based on gender, age, ethnicity, religion, disability, or any other form of inequality in our workplace. Our priority is to provide a safe, fair, and respectful working environment for all employees.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for human rights violations such as child labor, forced labor, and discrimination. We operate in full compliance with national and international legal regulations and adhere to the principles of social compliance in all our business processes.

We are committed to a transparent and responsible collaboration with all stakeholders, aiming for continuous improvement in the field of social compliance. We value the opinions and feedback of our stakeholders, and we expect them to comply with legal and ethical standards.

Between our company and the individual to be employed, we prepare an “Indefinite Term Employment Contract” or, if applicable, a “Fixed-Term Employment Contract” that includes the conditions offered to the candidate, compliant with workplace and legal standards. We ensure the employee signs the contract and necessary documents. A copy of the employment contract is provided to the employee upon request. We also provide orientation training to communicate company policies and the job requirements.

We determine working hours in accordance with the applicable labor laws and legal regulations. Overtime is conducted only when necessary and on a voluntary basis. Such work is compensated according to legal rights, either through payment or time off. We make adjustments to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Employees use their legal rights regarding rest days and holidays.

We ensure that employees receive a fair salary that allows for a decent living for themselves and their families, along with their social rights, in line with the relevant laws and regulations. Overtime pay is made in accordance with the law and is paid regularly and on time in monthly periods.

All administrative procedures for foreign workers in our company are carried out in compliance with the current legal regulations. Employment contracts are prepared in languages that employees can understand.

To minimize occupational health and safety risks and support the professional/personal development of our employees, we organize both internal and external training. Additionally, the right to report any adverse working conditions is guaranteed, and complaints are handled with confidentiality.

Open and continuous communication is encouraged between employees and managers. Effective communication channels are created for mutual feedback, suggestions, and requests.

All employees’ personality and dignity are respected. Psychological, physical, or verbal harassment, mistreatment, inappropriate sexual advances, or coercive practices are strictly prohibited. The use of alcohol or drugs at the workplace is forbidden, and disciplinary actions are taken against violators.

Employees have the right to report any situation that violates social compliance requirements. Such reports are reviewed with confidentiality, and employees making good-faith reports will not face retaliation.

Our company does not tolerate any unethical behavior, such as corruption, bribery, embezzlement, or fraud. Employees are prohibited from receiving illegal payments or personal gain.

Any gift or hospitality practices should only be within the context of good-faith business relationships and should be at a reasonable level. Any gifts or hospitality offered must be legal, legitimate, and in compliance with company policies.

We respect employees’ use of personal social media. Employees should avoid sharing anything that violates the company’s confidentiality or harms its reputation, ensuring that all posts comply with laws and ethical guidelines.

Employees avoid making decisions that place personal interests before the company’s interests. Any potential conflicts of interest are directly reported to management. It is strictly prohibited to use company positions to gain personal or close family-related benefits.

Our company adheres to the principles of fair competition in all commercial activities. Competitor information is obtained legally and within ethical boundaries.

The environmental impacts of our operations are evaluated, and necessary measures are taken. We adopt an environmentally conscious approach to production. Waste management is conducted in accordance with the law. Employees are educated on this matter.
